Founding member, Clarence Vinson leads the PFVS team as President. In this role  Clarence assumes the helm of PFVS, building upon his 40 years of experience in design. As one of Atlanta’s foremost designers with experience leading the PFVS team of skilled practitioners, Clarence brings hands-on experience in managing all aspects of the firm and client management and will harness his unique brand of leadership and management to continue the dynamic growth of PFVS.


As Former Director of Design for 30 years, Clarence is responsible for overseeing the planning and design of all PFVS projects.  Under his guidance, each project is carefully analyzed to determine functional requirements and form-giving characteristics.  The skills exhibited by Clarence in the delivery of these services have earned him the reputation as one of Atlanta’s foremost hospitality designers.


Since beginning his career in 1977, Clarence has been responsible for the design of multi-millions of square feet relative to commercial and residential projects.  In addition to concentrated experience in office buildings, hotels, and retail centers, Clarence has also designed multifamily housing projects and many prominent estate homes.  Clarence’s superior design talent has been recognized by winning several design awards and being published in numerous trade publications.


Mr. Vinson is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received the degrees of Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture and has frequently participated as an undergraduate guest critic.  Clarence is a corporate member of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and a charter member of the Atlanta High Museum of Arts.  In addition to being a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board, Clarence is also a licensed architect in over 25 individual states.
